Coldünya is a band from Baku in 1992.
I Staff (1992-1998): Teymur Nadir - Vocal, keyboard. Rovshan Kerimov - guitar, vocal. Samir Jafarli - drums, vocal, keyboard. Aydin Hajiev - bass, harmonica.
II Staff (1998-2000): Teymur Nadir - Vocal, keyboard. Samir Jafarli - drums, vocal, keyboard. Anar Isayev - guitar, vocal. Zaur Shixbabayev - bass, vocal.
III Staff (2000-present): Teymur Nadir - Vocal, keyboard. Samir Jafarli - drums, vocal, keyboard. Yashar Baxish - guitar, keyboard. Aydin Hajiev - bass, harmonica.
1996
October. Coldünya recorded and released its first album "Nota Bene" and filmed a first video "Sehrbaz"
"Sehrbaz" was broadcasted and promoted by ANS Radio and ANS TV from September 1996 up to July of 1997
October-November. "Sehrbaz" was broadcasted within two weeks in London "Top of pops BBC" of DJ Seva Novgorodczev and also transmitted by Transcaucasian BBC Service and took 7th place in BBC's foreign hit-list. Producer Mr. Daggi Daglas invited the band in London (trip was not realized because of financial problems)
1997
May. Coldünya was invited in Moscow by Producing Center "Poor People" (trip was not realized because of financial problems)
August. Coldünya filmed its second video "Enamored and Deceived", video promotion of "Enamoured and Deceived" by ANS TV
August-September. promotion of both band's videos by Georgian TV "Rustavi-2" aimed to prepare public for forthcoming concerts of "Coldünya" in Tbilisi
September. Coldünya was invited and took participation in open International Rock Festival named "From Freedom of Mass Media to Freedom of Person" held in Central Park of Tbilisi, Georgia, where "Coldünya" faced and played before more than 7 000 people
1999
May. Broadcasting company "Azad Azerbaijan" recorded and put on air a new single of Coldünya "If I would know…"
Coldünya filmed its third video "If would know …"
Coldünya gave an interview for National TV (AzTV-1 Channel) and presented the new video
Coldünya played open concert at Baku National Park devoted to Independence Day of Azerbaijan (audience 3000 people)
August. Coldünya made demo for its second album at "Azad Azerbaijan" broadcasting company
September. "Azad Azerbaijan" 106 FM broadcasting company prepared and put on air half-hourly broadcast devoted to Coldünya
October. Coldünya was the only Azeri band invited by British Council to take participation in open concert at Fountain Square during Great Britain Culture Days (audience 5000 people)
December. Coldünya played open concert at Fountain Square on Christmas Eve (audience 3000 people)
2000
January. By results of opinion poll held by Public National Prize Committee "Grand" Coldünya was generally recognized as one of the five best bands of Azerbaijan
February. Live on air performance of Coldünya broadcasted by "Azad Azerbaijan" 106 FM broadcasting Company
March. Coldünya among others Azeri pop stars took participation in open concert at Fountain Square devoted to celebration of Novruz (approximately 10 000 people)
May. Coldünya was invited by famous Azeri composer Vagif Geray Zadeh to take participation on his concert in Palace of Republic (audience 1700 people)
July. Coldünya as nominee proposed for Independent National Prize "Grand" established by "Azad Azerbaijan" broadcasting company and TV company ABA took participation in concert "Golden Microphone"
October. Moscow festival for "Peace in Caucasus"
