This album is absolute shit. Tedious and, I guess, the worst in their discography.

Terrible album, like the 2 others. They are trying hard to sound more and more comercial and go to the top, but they will never, never be there. These comercial shit sounds very, very artificial, repetitive. The 2 first still their masterpieces and I will still ignore everything they did after that.

i generally dont like this whole fiction theme, colds songs always had a serious point to them that was the soundtrack to some of their fans lives (to directly quote a good few there) whereas superfiction is...well super fiction. the album is currently in my car CD player and theres some good songs (wicked world, the park, the crossroads) but theres a majority i just skip now to get back to the ones i like, or just switch to the other 4 albums haha

Like OptimusDan said, if you want to hear the same old hard songs that Cold used to make, then just re-listen to ST, 13 Ways, and YOTS. They are amazing albums too! Superfiction is just a different style, but still AMAZING! :D they are all special in their own way, each cd is its own sound :)

Yeah, and now that I have, it's sound continues to be generic rock conformity, which misses the point the same way glamour goths do. made for the colorless, plain, non-artistic, military-joining asshole rednecky sort of people. The kind of drivel you hear on the radio, along with rap, being the most mindless shit around.

and, rofl; "f you're not part of this EVOLUTION, then .." Makes me laugh, it sounds so much like something a corrupt government is supposed to say. All great bands tend toward evolution? Ok, most great bands maintain somewhat of the same philosophy for a long time, unlike Cold, and certainly do not make such drastic changes to their sound, that fly in the face of their previous philosophy. How is it evolution to dumb your band down to typical crap like this fame-hungry imitation-of-an-imitation missing-the-point sound?

It's so old and annoying listening to this whole very transparent "evolution" argument cold fans always put forth to rationalize the simple fact that the magic has been at least somewhat gone for a very long time now, and Cold misses so many of the points now, that were once a part of their own philosophy. As the philosophy that modern music as bands, is.

ignorants... this is a good album. the base of COLD is Scooter Ward, Jeremy Marshall and Sam McCandless.. not Terry and Kelly.. all great bands tends to EVOLUTION, if you're not part of this "EVOLUTION", then listen the same old album over and over again without care about new ones. ppffsss..

Big disappointment. Wicked World is the only good song and is the one that actually sounds like COLD.

This is not Cold....this is Scooter....minus the Genius of Terry and Kelly.....13 ways to Bleed was the best ever and Scooter can never bring that shit....because he has not got it in him to give....I never liked the Killer and the Star

Superfiction is a amzing cd <3 Not to mention the artwork is incredible, the best Cold has ever had. Scooter sings in so many amazing melodies and vocalizing, especially in So Long June and Delivering The Saint. And The Break could be one of Cold's best songs ever by far. And it had its harder rock songs too, like with Wicked World, So Long June, The Break, and Crossroads. --Just love this cd so much :D
