Biography
Columbia Buffet are a five piece band hailing from the North Brisbane suburbs. The founders of this band- Daniel Rogan, Stephen Rogan, Jeramiah Smith-Kankaala and Elliott Fuller, have been together as a band for a little over a year, with the release of the one E.P entitled ‘Entree’
The recent addition of guitarist/vocalist Joshua Rennie-Hynes has expanded the band Sonically, now with 3 guitars and 2 vocalists, they create a thick, signature mix of sound.
Their forthcoming debut L.P ‘Atlas’ has been a long time in the making, with the band working tirelessly, and recording the entire album themselves. The result was a level of perfection that only they could be happy with, and a record that they are incredibly proud of, which is set to be released in the coming months.
Columbia Buffet bring a subtle, yet unique blend of music influenced by the many differing music worlds. The result is large, with soothing vocal melodies, guided gently with thick harmonious guitars and punctuated with modern rock drumming. Intellectual compositions, a unique sound, and musical talent are the hallmarks of this up and coming band.
