Biography
CORLEONNE was formed in January 2006 by Alejandro Estrella (drums), José Larrea (guitar) and Emmanuel Graglia (guitar); at the end of July 2006 Corleonne completes its formation with Diego Martínez (vocals) and Juan Bogace (bass). The project arises within Hard Rock genre. After their first public presentation at a well-known local club in November 2006, CORLEONNE starts working on their first EP, which consists of 5 songs whose lyrics refer mainly to everyday and deep sensations. The aim is closer to releasing conscience versatility, than to repressing it. Themes oscillate among rage, luxury, love or shame, pleasure and desire; all of them summed up with 2 concepts: being and its experiences. All through 2007, CORLEONNE dedicated themselves full time to performing at Buenos Aires, mainly pubs and local rock clubs. After being chosen 2nd at a "New Hard Rock Band" local contest, they shared stage with Jeff Scott Soto. Nowadays they are fully concentrated on recording their first studio LP, which is expected to be released in no more than 6 months' time. Something worth mentioning is the original sound based on the mixture of each member's preferences, from Heavy or Power Metal to Jazz and Progressive or 70s Rock. Each member's individuality as regards musical influences leads CORLEONNE to be considered one of the most original bands within the genre. Translated by Natalia Diaz
