“FUNERAL” is DC The Don's third studio album and his follow up from 2022’s “My Own Worst Enemy”. The album serves as a sequel to the album, as it is Rag3 Kidd’s funeral that is being mentioned in the title, being as he “died” on the last album.
The original album name was “RAG3 KIDDS FUNERAL”, however as of now DC has shortened the title to just “FUNERAL”. It was meant to drop in Fall 2022, but that ended up not being the case.
In October, DC, announced he would be going on tour as promo for his new album. The album was supposed to drop during his time on tour, but it never happened, and the tour ended before FUNERAL released.
DC revealed the first three songs on the track list on the YouTube Premiere for his “All I Know” music video. These songs were “FUNERAL”, “LUV”, and “URGENT”, but the track list has changed since then.
On April 22, DC went to Milwaukee for an Album listening party, revealing the track list, cover art, and release date, which is May 5th, 2023.
