Biography

DJ, Promoter, Producer & Remix Artist are what I’m mainly known for in the electronic dance music scene today. I started out in March 1999 learning the art of DJing and beat matching with Trance music, shortly after I began buying rare Italian House tracks that I had been listening to for many years on live mix-tapes from Zone (a legendary promotion in my area). These records are what paved the way for me from the bedroom DJ to the established nightclub DJ.

I started handing out mix-tapes of this music to friends and they copied them and passed them to their friends and so on. It was one of these mix-tapes I handed to a promoter at a local Old Skool event in Wigan that landed me my first proper club gig and my name finally on a flyer which could now be used as reference for future event promoters. This gig brought many others from various promoters and built a nice portfolio of flyers and the rest they say is history.

Since then I have been a nightclub DJ for over a decade and have played at some of the biggest and best venues throughout the U.K. and Spain alongside some of the biggest names in dance music. The music styles I play range from Old Skool, Italian House, Trance, House, Hard House & Hard Dance. I am known by most for playing multi genre DJ sets containing some or even all of the above listed genres at any one time.
Promoter

Due to the demise of good music being played at events in our local area; in 2002 when Zone left Maximes. A good friend and I started our own dance music brand Sanctuary which at first was just giving people who shared interest in the same music as we did a place to go. The first night was held at The Cricketer in Wigan a mile or so from the town centre and gained a maximum crowd of 57 people all of which was friends of friends who came for the music.

We recorded the night and sold the tapes in our local record store, the events that followed built in numbers due to word of mouth and tape sales from previous events until we was getting lockout crowds of 600+ turning up and couldn’t get in. Time to move and move we did, this time we hit Club 1.11 in Blackpool and hosted some legendary events with massive named guests flown in. Next up was another Blackpool venue, Klub DNA this was something new to us really it was a nicely kitted out posh place compared to what we was used too, the events here was also legendary with more massive name guests flying over to play to our now legendary crowd of clubbers.

Then it was the big move The Syndicate Superclub in Blackpool, this is the biggest venue in the U.K. and has hosted parties by world famous Promotion Companies flying in the world’s best DJ’s week in week out and here we are in that very venue hosting our own monthly event Sanctuary. It was a few months after this move that I quit the promotion game and now just DJ at this legendary event due to family life.

It has been 3 years now Sanctuary has been at the Syndicate and sadly the venue has closed down due to unforeseen circumstances so Sanctuary has now relocated to Club Sanuk in Blackpool and will continue to host its massive events there.
Starting and Promoting Sanctuary for 6 years was definitely a good move and this event truly has taken me throughout my DJ path of the U.K. and Spain playing at the best venues alongside the best names in electronic dance music.
Producer & Remix Artist

I started producing my own music in 2005; my first production was for a remix competition of an Old Italian House Classic called Slip & Slide which was originally released in 1994. The remix I was involved in was chosen as the winning remix and was released on Back Up Records (Italy) in 2005 and became an anthem in its own right being played throughout Europe. In 2006 I was asked by 90 Style Records (Italy) to remix an original track they had just written, this remix was also taken by the label and made the vinyl which released all over Europe.

My next vinyl release was The Narcotic EP which I released in March 2008 on Eezy Records; this was a 4 track EP and sold out completely within 2 weeks of its release throughout the North West of England and Spain and is now hard to get hold of. My final vinyl release was A.J. Company – The Last Goodbye & Funky Hooker also released on Eezy Records in December 2008.

From 2009 to present all my productions have been mp3 release only due to the decline in vinyl sales. These productions include a remix of the legendary On and On by Yanou, Pjanoo by Eric Prydz, Bits and Pieces by Artemesia, You & I by J.K. & an Original track under the Alias Narcotic called World Of Dreams.
