DJ Phunkology is an independent Music Producer, Composer, and DJ born in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. He was raised in the Chicago area and later lived in San Francisco and Los Angeles before eventually returning to Chicago.
DJ Phunkology was first influenced by the early Detroit/Chicago house music and electronic music underground. This paved the way for experimentation with other electronic genres including but not at all limited to acid, drum and bass, psytrance, goa, psychedelic, trip hop, dub, idm, downtempo, lounge, ambient, and chillout.
DJ Phunkology is a studio and streaming project since 2004 and does not currently perform at live venues.
