Biography
DJ Pocket (also known as Pocket, P to the O, and also just “P” for short), is a Record /Executive Producer, Recording Engineer, and Music Supervisor from Baltimore, Maryland. Being born during the golden-era of Hip-Hop, DJ Pocket’s main production style is classic of East Coast Hip-Hop that consists of big and heavy drums layered with loops, MPC sample chops and live keyboard sounds. Pocket also composes music for MTV and was music supervisor for the movie Choices in 2005. He has appeared in collaborative projects such as “In The Loop” and “Hartsfield JAXson” with Count Bass D and formed the duo H&’ with Y’all So Stupid’s H2O releasing “Stay In Your Lane” in 2010. DJ Pocket is also recognized for his production on Count Bass D’s Album entitled Dwight Spitz distributed by High Times Records in 2002, in which he produced “Make A Buck” featuring MF DOOM. He is also credited for mastering Dwight Spitz.
