My first band was a hardcore punk band called Deadlock. If you can’t play any instrument you play hardcore – that’s the way it is.
After several good and some bad experiences with all sorts of bands and labels, especially as graphic designer, I decided to give up making music, because it was and it still is a snakepit. This was eight years ago. Fortunately I rediscovered the good feeling of making music, when the possibilities of home recording and the power of computers grew. Since two years I got increasingly involved again in creating music to express my emotions and thoughts and Darage Bang is the outcome so far. Yes, it’s a silly name but it’s honest and a reminiscence what software was the initial tool which enabled me making music again.
This project is subject to permanent change, because it reflects my personal mood, my influences, my actual state of mind. My music is a very personal mirror of myself and not considered to be commercial or for the masses. I invite you to experience this precious part of my life together with me.
