Fucking hell, you're diving deep into Bowie's shit with that analysis, like you're channeling the bastard's ghost. Low is a goddamn masterpiece of twisted wires and haunting fucking echoes, ain't it? It's like Bowie took a fucking leap into the abyss of sound, with Eno holding the goddamn rope. That synth pulse grabs you by the balls, man. What's your take on the way "Low" sort of rips apart the fabric of rock and stitches it back together with these electronic threads? And how do you think this fucked-up, beautiful mess influenced other artists who were trying to break the mold?

Most of that is due to the total listeners of the title track though, which is bigger than any song on Low.

I looked at both albums and Low has around 7m scrobbles whilst Heroes has around half that, which I think makes sense because Low is more compulsively listenable. Either way they're both top five in terms of Bowie's total output if ya ask me!

Hated this when I first heard it. Then gave it another go a couple of months later and couldn't really believe it was the same album I'd listened to before. The first side initially seemed really cheap, derivative and superficial. But now I've recognised the genius. I can't really explain why I enjoy this so much (my knowledge of theory is far too insufficient). Anyway, side two is transcendental, obviously.

The funny part is I only listened this album with kindness when I was 17. When i was younger than that, bowie to me only meant "ziggy stardust and his spiders from mars"... I really hated the germanic discography from Bowie... but idk some new stuffs and lines of thought u only create when u grow up. I dont know if its happening with u guys, but i still have these problems with the neoclassic's discography...

I am Polish and Warszawa for sure isn't the part of Silesia, as suggested in the track... nevertheless it is a damn good track.

The best/most accurate description I ever heard of this is that it's the only album that actually sounds like thinking.

I dunno if it's just me, but I feel like this would have been the perfect instrumental album, but I don't love bowie's preformances on this album, for some reason

According to Eno it was done on purpose and meant to confound listener expectations
