Known for his soul filled vocals and whole hearted guitar work, Dawson James delivers powerful live performances with his group. Elements of hard blues, gospel, back woods soul, country, and rock are the roots and foundation for his authentic sound. Humbly starting on the streets, subways, and dive bars, Dawson James is breath of fresh air in a world of corporate manufactured pop.
Dawson James is a seasoned artist with a world class group. Independently funding and producing his albums, Dawson is in relentless pursuit of victory with his music. With his small town values and honest soul, Dawson has won the hearts of many fans across the country. He has played for several different charities and continues to support good causes with his music. Dawson James is Berklee College Of Music Alumni. He writes messages of “real life” encouragement, pain, beliefs in God, struggles with sin, righteousness and relationships with his poetic lyrics and songwriting.
Dawson James has been independently booking and touring with his group since 2004. He has played countless shows across the nation with a variety of musicians.
