Daymark is an Atlanta based band that formed in early 2009. The band was assembled as a side project to explore other music genres by three active members in the Atlanta music community. Guitar player and back up-vocalist Mick Mayer of the indie-rock band Red Sea recruited Grace Kelly, a soul-inspired singer songwriter, to play bass and sing vocals, and Hank Pratt, guitarist of the well-known hardcore band Foundation, to play drums.
