Biography
Delicatoni is a young project from Vicenza, Italy, that dabbles in jazz, electronic, soul, psych-pop, and dance music. The diverse and multi-layered sounds of Delicatoni reflect the different backgrounds and influences of its members.
Right from the start, it's clear that their expressive exploration goes beyond the realm of purely musical endeavors and seeks to capture and convey elements tied to cinema and visual arts as well. Often utilizing irony, starting with their name that pokes fun at the very concept of masculinity.
Delicatoni is comprised of Antonio Bettini, Smilian Cibic, Giorgio Manzardo, and Claudio Murru, but they enrich their stage presence by introducing a complex ensemble consisting of ten musicians, two guitars, a bass, a drummer, a percussionist, a string trio, a saxophone, a synthesizer section, and effects, all of which accompany the vocals and their acrobatic lyrics.
