Austin-based Deserts of Mars was formed in 2006 with a heavy fuzzed-out bass and the idea that the riff rules all! Influenced by a variety of heavy music from around the galaxy, Deserts of Mars has one goal – to create Mars Metal that rocks the universe. Made of equal parts desert rock, 90s grunge, and classic heavy metal, Deserts of Mars have crafted a sound they have dubbed Mars Metal- music akin to meteor with white hot heaviness, an Earthshaking rumbling bass, thunderous drums, and guitars that sing the music of the spheres.

Tony Salvaggio – Founding/lead member of DoM whose growling bass has been known to shake the stars and is the perfect complement to his melodic vocals.
Morgan Faber -A drum powerhouse from another galaxy, laying waste to foes with thunderous fury
Kotah Mack -brings a tone that evokes black holes, solar flares, and the songs of ethereal galaxies to the Mars Metal trio.
