Diamond Thug is a four-piece independent band from Cape Town, South Africa.
While the name may cause you to think of three large tattooed men, the band actually only consists of two, rather-small, tattooed men, Danilo Queiros and Adrian Culhane, and a very lovely lead lady: Chantel Van T.
The band was started by Chantel Van T and Danilo Queiros in 2012, with aspirations of making intelligent and creative electronic music.
In 2013 the group began performing live at various clubs including The Assembly and The Waiting Room. It was at this stage that Adrian Culhane joined them as a drummer and composer.
The group undertook their first tour: "The Lights Out Tour" on June 5, 2013 with shows in Cape Town, Stellenbosch and Johannesburg. Their first music video was released in June 2013.
