Dimensión Latina is a venezuelan salsa orchestra born in Caracas in 1972 in a Brewery of name “La Distinción” between used to meet a group of musical young people.

In this place the project of Orchestra is accelerated; once mounted the repertoire and being ready for play.

The name suggested by the venezuelan jazz musician Víctor Cuica.

In the beginnings the band was conformed among others by Oscar D' León, -singer and bass player-, Cesar "Albóndiga" (Meatball) Monge in the Trombón, Direction, Choirs and Adjustments Musicales and Jose Rodriguez (Joseito) in the Timbals, Bongo, drums and Bell.

In 1987 “Dimension Latina”, is acquired by Luis Pérez, a Venezuelan Artistic Industralist who from year 1972 had been a follower of this Orchestra.
