There's a very old leaked version of this album floating around, pretty sure it was a pre-release and pre-master leak. For the longest time I've preferred this to the official version, as the the guitars are much darker, thicker and more prominent in the mix. Not knocking the official mix, but what if I told you there was an even better version out there?

Man, this album is historic. It's a definite high-point for metal in general. It definitely has Dimmu's most stand-out tracks ... you just don't top songs like"Vredesbyrd".
