Biography
Disco Cherry is an experimental artist coming from a background of 'unlistenable' aesthetics that pushes the limts of aural tolerance, mollified by funky beats. Characterised by low production values, clumsy execution and crude samples, Disco Cherry is best known for the album 'Traumatic Insemination', the soundtrack to a fictional horror film of the same title. Traumatic Insemination refers to the mating process of certain insects whereby the male's penis functions as a weapon, which pierces the female's abdomen and deposits its sperm in the wound. Disco Cherry's music hopes to achieve a similarly traumatic listening experience, but one that will nevertheless lay the eggs of horrific, postmodern electro-shit between your violated ears.
