Disproof was founded in 2001 by a group of experimental musicians in Johnson City, Tennessee. Members have recorded hundreds of tracks since and have spread to Nashville, Atlanta, Asheville and Seattle. Around 2010 a metal band in Russia started using the same name.

Tradition is a two-sided coin. Disproof is the electro-chemical makeup of this coin. If you call "tails", tradition is to place great value in old models that blaspheme change and hinder evolution. If you call "heads", tradition becomes defined by new ideas which allow the collective mind to expand weightlessly.
If you call "Disproof", no one answers the phone and all bets are off. Experience this in the comfort of your own home by standing the coin of tradition vertically and spinning it with a good flip.
