Nur is the root of the name Nuraghe, which are the main type of ancient megalithic edifice found in Sardinia and developed by the Nuragic civilization. Downfall of Nur means "The Fall of the Nuragic Civilization".
Argentinian Black Metal band/artist, whose debut release Jhanas-Nur was initially self-released digitally in 2013. 2014 saw the release of Umbras E Forestas, an EP that was also initially independently released. Umbras de Barbagia, the first Downfall of Nur full-length album, was released in 2015 by Avantgarde Music on various CD formats and a 2xLP as well. 2016 will see the release, again on Avantgarde Music, of a collaborative album with the Italian black metal band Selvans.
