Dragonfly (2) was a Dutch psychedelic folk rock band from the 1960s. Heavily influenced by bands such as The ink Floyd and Jimi Hendrix Experience, they released two singles ('Celestial Dreams' and 'Celestial Empire', both in 1968), but their début LP was pulled by the record label, only to see the light of day decades later. The group's main claim to fame? There are two. Firstly, he incredible Rudi de Queljoe was their guitar player. He moved on to a succesful post-Dragonfly career in bands such as Brainbox, Massada and Vitesse. Secondly, Dragonfly were known for their performances with painted faces, 'pre-KISS'.
