eme (DJ) is a Spanish girl who at a young age started her 'career' recording and exchanging mixtapes.
But her official debut as a Deejay was in 1997, in "El Indio" (Sada, La Coruña, Spain) and shortly after she appeared in local radio programs for example ¨La cripta¨ (punk rock, garage, soul & rock n roll) and collaborated in some fanzines.
Being 18 she moved to Madrid and since she has made her way into Madrid’s Night Life deejaying at several clubs and pubs such as Ocho y Medio, Low Club, Independance, Tupperware, La Vía Láctea, Nueva Visión, Coppelia, Astoria Club, Barbarella, Garage Sonico… thanks to her carefree style, her balancing between top hits and unexpected songs, her capacity to play some forgotten classics and her intimacy with the crowd have carried her all over the Spanish geography. She has deejayed in Barcelona, Murcia, Coruña, Vigo, Granada, Castellon, Bilbao, Pamplona, Valencia, Salamanca and even at the Internacional Festival of Benicassim (FIB- Heinneken), 981 Festival, the Transmission Club and the KoKo Club in London with Jeff Automatic and The Infadels in 2006.
She mixes everything, from Rock to Electronic music, from Pop to Punk. It is a great choice any night if you want to remember the glorious 90´s, imagine yourself at the Roxy in 1977, and sing your own favorite song from your youth.
