I'm glad I saw them before she left. They sound so much better live. A lot of bands that aren't as big are going to have issues with production. The first EP having good production doesn't mean they will always be able to get the same, not saying anyone implied that they should be able to, just stating that it's not a guarantee everything they release will have the same. I know some smaller bands end up with good production on every release, but that's not always the case. They are a talented band, you CAN hear the talent behind the bad production, and they sound just as good as any of the bigger names live. Instead of complaining, listen closer, and support the band in whatever way you can, and hope they will can find/afford better production next time, and maybe one damn the album will be re-mastered.

I love the In Your Eyes EP! The production and quality are just pure gold, but BY GODS the production quality of the album Land Of The Midnight Sun is such a let down, it's shockingly awful.

IMO Melissa is not that skilled, I don't feel any emotion in her voice, and for me the music of this band is wretched.

Shes an idiot b/c she left joined a band that sounded exactly like Nightwish (pre Anette) then threw a hissy fit and left b/c they were being compared to Nightwish. So THEN she does guest vox for a band that (with her) sounds exactly like Nightwish...THEN joins another band that sounds exactly like Nightwish. N yea. I DO expect Nightwish production quality. Their r plenty of bands that have proven small bands can get it/do it. Ancient Bards have top notch quality and their debut album as well. Dotma have top notch quality n and their still on demo status. "New band on only our second release" is NOT an excuse for bad quality. Especially when the vocalist is VERY well known and u know damn well she has connections and could probably have gotten them better production.
