Biography
Ellen Kristjansdottir is an Icelandic singer. Born in San Fransisco, living in Reykjavik Iceland from age 7. Ellen has released 3 CDs in her name, 2 with her group Komboid and 3 with vocal trio Borgardaetur as well as appearing as a guest on records with many Icelandic artists. Her 2004 album Salmar won the Icelandic music award as album of the year. She has since relaesed 2 CDs to critical acclaim, the latest one, Draumey (2009), contains all original material by Ellen. Songs from that album were on Ellen's setlist when she opened for Eric Clapton in Reykjavik, Iceland in 2008.
