Emcee Lynx is an anarchist hip hop artist from the Bay Area, California who has released 5 independant albums in tha last five years, collaborated with producers and artists all over the world, and whose music combines a driving rage against injustice and oppression with a razor sharp analysis of the current system. His style, like his politics, leaves no holds barred and takes no prisoners, but retains a strongly humanistic quality that sets it apart from the empty bravado of mainstream rap.

He uses music as a weapon to fight for political change, and has performed at dozens of anti-war rallies all over the USA, as well as countless other demonstrations, fundraisers, and benefits for radical causes and groups. He has also recorded songs for benefit albums in support of various groups, including the Anarchist Black Cross, Books To Prisoners, and others. All of his solo music is independently produced and released on a "pay what you think it's worth" basis through his band's website, (http:/beltainesfire.com).

Regular collaborators include Dub Sea, from London, England; who produced more then half the instrumentals on Lynx's last solo album, Kdubbs of Urban Underground in San Jose California, DJ Phoney from Cologne Germany, and Selbstlaut from Lienz, Austria.
