Biography
Emily Lodato was born on May 1st 1989 in Tampa, Florida. Being of Lebanese and Puerto Rican decent, Emily grew up diversely. Coming from a musical background where both grandparents were musically inclined, Emily grew up studying music. At age 10, she started participating in local talents shows and showcasing her talents in the church choir. She then went to study at a performing arts academy and by age 13 she began writing music for the academy's musical productions. After high school she decided to move to Miami to pursue music as a full time effort. While in Miami she worked writing w/ A-list producers and then decided to study the arts of acting and attended The South Florida Acting Academy. While attending the academy she shot commercial and print work. In the midst of it all, she was still writing music for local artists and receiving placements.
By the age of 20 music was her main focus and she started working with B&M Live Inc Brad MacMayer (Manager) From there she began performing club events and opened for Pop/Hip Hop Artist " Mann" at events and also Pop star Iyaz showcasing her music.
Steve Lobel (A2Z Entertainment) and Paul Gousse (Dirtyworks Productions) later joined the Emily Lodato Management Team.
She currently released her debut music single record "Listen to your Heart" Featuring Flesh-n-Bone from Bone Thugs-N-Harmony an American Hip-Hop/R'n'B band from Cleveland, Ohio formed in 1991.
The "Listen to your Heart" single was produced produced by Drop ( Adrian Santana) whom has worked with Fat Joe and Pitbull — in fact, he engineered Fat Joe's single "Lean Back" (produced by Storch), which was certified platinum.
"Listen to Your Heart" was mastered by Grammy Award winning Mastering Don Grossinger. His experience encompasses more than 25 years of mastering. Don has participated in has charted on almost all Billboard Magazine's charts. He has won RIAA Gold Record awards and has mastered Grammy Award winning albums and singles. Christina Aguilera, Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson, Run-DMC, Brian Wilson & Many others.
