Biography
En Pursuit is a local progressive indie-rock band born and raised in Miami, FL. Starting as a two-man project (Raul Garcia, Victor Cepeda) originally in 2006 with little progress, the band didn't begin to come together until 2008 when the band picked up two more members (Sebastian Sanchez, Andrew deCarion) and solidified their sound with influences ranging from The Mars Volta, Circa Survive, mewithoutYou, and Dear and the Headlights. They recorded their first demo, Winter in Reverse, using only a microphone and a recording interface at home within the time span of a month to have it released in December. The demo was later re-released early in February on MySpace with a few mixing changes and an added intro track.
En Pursuit played their last show May 30th and decided to put the project on a definite hiatus due to the re-location of the guitarist.
