Portraying high energy live shows, haunting yet addictive tracks and taking inspiration from bands such as ‘Blindspott’, ‘Deftones’ and ‘Sevendust’. ‘Tauranga’ based ‘Enercia’ conforms well into the progressive rock genre while simultaneously forging a whole new identity entirely.
Since releasing their debut EP ‘High Stakes and Desperate Measures’, a change of drummer and inclusion of a second guitarist, has defined an unmistakable and explosive new sound that has launched the band to be described as a true heavy weight of rock.

Having toured extensively over the greater north island, Enercia has performed alongside UK based ‘I Am Giant’ and renowned New Zealand artists, ‘Dane Rumble’, ‘These Four Walls’ and ‘Ivy Lies’.
Between shows, the five piece act locked themselves in the studio to demo and record new material. With engineering duties being handled by Zorran Mendonza and mastering from Evan Short, Enercia produced their defining and powerful four track EP en-tittled ‘Change’.

In July of 2011, Enercia achieved a milestone any band hopes for, the signing of their first international record deal with DO IT Records.
