Biography
With a gritty, alt-pop sound that also incorporates hip-hop in equal measure, Toronto’s Eric Punzo offers his own brand of passionate, introspective songwriting. With three singles to his credit so far, Eric is poised to make a powerful impression on the international music scene in 2022, while expanding his fan base through both full band shows and intimate acoustic performances.
Managed by Toronto-based Coalition Music, Eric continues to hone his craft with producer Steve Molella (Finger Eleven), with more releases planned on Molella’s label, BAMO Records. Eric’s latest single, “All In My Head,” is a dark-hued banger, and follows his three warmly received singles, “Criminal,” “Nauseous,” and "The River."
Like many artists of his generation, the concept of genres doesn’t seem to apply any longer when it comes to Eric’s sound. What matters most is using all of his skills to create something fresh and exciting. As he draws inspiration from a vast array of artists ranging from Mac Miller to City & Colour, expect Eric Punzo to keep finding innovative ways to bare his soul through his music.
