Biography

There are two bands performing under this name:

1. Escarabajos is a Chilean band started in 2011 by Francisco Celedón (harmonica), Robinson Sáez (guitar), Felipe Morales (bass) and Maximiliano Campos (drums). After a long time in search of a vocalist, they found Diego Echeverría and began playing both blues classics and their own compositions in bars around Santiago. In 2012 they decided to lock themselves away to compose and record the songs that made the bulk of their first album called "Homónimo", released in 2013.

2. Escarabajos is a Spanish rock band born in 1994 in Pamplona. Their first demo dates from December 1994 and would release their first album the following year. Despite their short career, the group has performed extensively around Navarre, especially in bars in Pamplona, and has a wide repertoire. The band would split and come back many times, releasing their second album in 2012. In 2018 they renamed to Latxatarra and released a new album.

3. "Escarabajos" is also a literal Spanish translation of The Beatles. There is a Spanish tribute band to The Beatles named Los Escarabajos which is sometimes redirected to this profile. The Beatles songs may also be mistakenly scrobbled here due to automatic translations in the listening interface or bad tagging.
