On April 24th, 2020, frontman Kevin Ratajczak announced on YouTube that the search for a new singer is over. After an application phase, a video followed on June 4th, 2020, announcing that Nico Sallach (former lead singer of the band To the Rats and Wolves) would be the new lead singer of the band. Furthermore, Eskimo Callboy announced a new EP at the same time. "Hypa Hypa" is the first new song from that upcoming untiled EP and its also the first new music with Nico since former singer Sebastian "Sushi" Biesler left the band on February 12, 2020 to begin working on his new musical project, Ghostkid.
