Espumas y Terciopelo is a mexican folkloric pop band from Guadalajara, Mexico. When Memo and Maricha were on a month long trip to Chiapas, they found themselves in need of a job. Getting a mundane job as waiters didn't really fit with their traveling agenda, so they started to look for a job singing mexican boleros. They found that they didn't really know many boleros, so they started writing their own. After a while, they had enough material for an album. Back in their hometown, they sang at weddings, while recording their own songs. They have been featured as the song of week in the Mexican iTunes Store and are awaiting the re-release of their album, that should be available soon in mexican stores.
