Biography
Born late 2009, Everember was blessed to open for national artist Building 429 very early on. Spoken to the band by lead singer Jason Roy were these words,
“Don’t wait on anyone to help you, take the initiative. Be the best and most professional that you can possibly be right now and keep Christ at the center always.”
That statement undoubtedly became the fuel for the flame in the hearts of, at that time, young high-school students. Throughout the coming years that passion only grew, not to be contained. Everember exists as a mission to be a positive witness through lifestyle and substantial musical production. This isn’t your stereotypical rock band.
Times have never been better for the band as they approach the release of their first full-length album entitled, “Artifacts”. The creation of the eleven song package sparked a depth that had not yet been experienced by the members.
“Once we sat down and started writing the tracks for the album it felt like we were archaeologists, digging up hidden treasures within ourselves that we wanted to share. At that point we realized parallel with our spiritual lives as well. Christ came down, dug us up and then proceeded to clean us up and make us into something beautiful and valuable. We are the beneficiaries of mercy. We are the artifacts. It was obvious that was to be the title of our debut album.”
- Andy Bowen
Artifacts materializes through sound the essence of Everember. With a solid blend of hard rock, a smidgen of good ole’ fashioned 808 pop and just a tad of electronica, their sound stands out from the crowd. A heavy influence by the likes of Switchfoot, Family Force Five, Skillet, and Thousand Foot Krutch is apparent by the overdriven guitar tones and drum placement in the mix. Scheduled to be released early 2013, this will be the biggest thing yet to happen since the formation of the band.
"I feel like the band and myself have put our entire soul into the making
of this album. It has really been a unifying experience, and I believe
it will open doors. The band is ready and willing to do whatever it takes
to make more music, reach many more people and share the Gospel
for many years to come."
-Kevin Oliver
Everember is ready and willing to do whatever it takes to see this
career choice to its fruition. Sacrifices have been made, and they will continue to be made. With sights set on forever, the band continues to do what they love the most.
