Biography
The group was formed in 2010, in Russia. The music of the band Fringe Mind is several genres of alternative metal: nu metal and groove metal. The lyrics are based on inner experiences, schizophrenia and other aspects of a person's mental abnormalities. Music has a dark atmosphere of despair and melancholy. Having recorded 3 tracks, in 2015, the band begins to participate in concert activities. Since 2016, a lull has begun, nothing has been heard about the band until 2017. This is due to internal conflicts within the team, the group was on the verge of collapse. However, in 2017 the single Fringe Mind - Fringe Mind is released, this single received a lot of positive reviews and it marked the reunion of the collective in the original composition, with the exception of one participant. Fringe mind resumes concert activity, presenting new material, which was also warmly received by the public. In early 2018, the group went to the sound recording studio. On May 26, 2018 there is a mini-album with the same name Fringe Mind - Fringe Mind. It included early 3 tracks and 4 new tracks. The album received positive reviews. The album feels the influence of such teams as Korn, Coal Chamber, Limp Bizkit, Ektomorf.
The album was released on the Bandcamp site. Participants Fringe Mind do not intend to go on vacation and promise in the near future to release a new, full-length album.
