Fbox was an acoustic punk rock band from Richmond, Virginia, by Gary Llama. Drawing inspiration from the great political songwriters of Woody Guthrie and Billy Bragg, Fbox played political acoustic punk, or what could be considered 'folk punk'.
Fbox eschewed the things that didn't make sense of what punk rock had become. The band arrangement and it's subsurvance to music industry arrangements, the idea of touring or performing. The idea of branding. And eventually, the idea of releasing physical product. Fbox, was essentially, an attempt at pure punk rock; music for the message's sake.
