Fire Walk With Us
Founded in 2007, Amsterdam ( The Netherlands ), Fire Walk With Us brings a spaced out, but
brutal combination of post-rock, metal and hardcore.
Their signature sound, layered soundscapes versus uptempo heavy riffing, has been recorded on
their two digital releases, EP#1 (2009) and the full length “Carriers” (2011). Both releases have lead
to numerous great reviews in the international blogosphere and brought them to share stages with
influential bands like Earth (US), Junius (US), Dälek (US), A Storm Of Light (US), And You Will
Know Us By The Trail Of Dead (US), Amen Ra (BE), ZU (IT) and many more.
And this year Fire Walk With Us have teamed up with the mighty IZAH. They will release a 24
minute split-EP that can best be described as a Mike Tyson uppercut followed by a Bruce Lee
frontkick.
This three track release features two Fire Walk With Us tracks, recorded and mixed by themselves
and mastered by Robbe K. ( Disavowed & Obisidian ) at Audiovisualz, Haarlem. It will be released
on Rising Magma and drops 12-12-12.
