Folk Uke is Cathy Guthrie, daughter of Arlo Guthrie, and Amy Nelson, daughter of Willie Nelson. Folk Uke, have been writing and performing together for over a decade. This duo is a unique amalgam of angelic harmonies often wrapped around edgy, surprising lyrics. Folk Uke plays folk music in its truest form with a delightfully wicked twist.
The duo has a unique folk-pop sound and catchy lyrics, creative lyrics, notably on their original song, "Shit Makes the Flowers Grow."
