Fox The Fox was a Funk band from The Netherlands, formed in 1981 by Bert Tamaela and Sylhoutte Musmin. While Tamaela was the band's singer, Musmin wrote his lyrics and Tamaela the music. In 1983 they had a hit song named Flirting and Showing. A number of remixes was created, one of them by Ben Liebrand.

In 1984 their only other hit was 'Precious Little Diamond'. After 2 albums and 6 singles the band broke up in 1990.

Members included: Bert Tamaela (Guitar & Vocals), Gino Jansen (Bass), Kier Van De Werf (Guitar), Roy Kuschel (Keyboards), Sylhoutte Musmin (Keyboards), Tjalling Bos (Drums). Before Fox the Fox, Tamaela was a member of Boozy (hits: Angela & Dance to the music).
