this was the first zappa album i listened to, so there is bit of nostalgia, even though this isnt even close to my favorite zappa's, but it is a solid album.

I love the album where a song is about a guy who is desperate to give a head and song named "Yo mama"

Just Saw Zappa plays Zappa at the Beacon in NYC last night. If you haven't You Must Dweezel & the Band is Up to anything Frank put down on tape. Yea it's not the same as seeing Frank BUT it is The Very Next Best Thing. Hearing Music that hasn't been played on stag for Decades is a Dream come true. A Dream you have to be part of. Check out Zappa palys Zappa web site to see where tin your area they Playing. I am just a huge Fan I have no financial stake in your going. Just Go You will not be Disapointed

I'll never forget... April, 1979. Working in a little hippie stereo shop in Fair Lawn NJ; thought I heard something a little strange from my boss's workbench system. Fucked?? Balls?? Shoots too quick???? WTF????????? They don't say those words in the music world........... Turned around to see my boss holding the phone up to a speaker sharing Bobby Brown with his buddy!!! OMFG!!! I about SM pants... Didn't wait for break, ran right up front and bought it on the spot. Life was NEVER the same for me after Sheik Yerbouti and the demise of one of Jerseys best little music & stereo shops. Perhaps THE defining moment of my late teens. Fast forward 1984... Working on an engineering project in Mesa, AZ. Little "Alternative/Progressive" FM station KSTM (The Storm at 107) plays Bobby Brown UN-CUT ON THE "NOONNER"!!!!!! Partner's jaw hits floor, mine follows. Not much more "productivity" that day. I think that DJ left shortly afterwards....... ;)
