“High” sees legendary producer Madlib utilize a Biggie sample and Freda Payne’s “I Get High (On Your Memory)” to paint a fantastic lounge hip-hop banger with a guest verse from Danny Brown.
In Freddie Gibbs–Danny Brown fashion, the song tackles pictures of the drug trade, threesomes and smoking marijuana everywhere. This is punctuated by the ending skit where Danny Brown appears to suffer from a case of the overdose after smoking a dipper.
