Furik is an electronic artist formed in Ohio, United States in 2002 after the end of his band Lifting Spirit. Using synthesizers and computer programming, Furik sent out many demos in the earlier years of his career.

In May 2004, his first full-length album, SIB TS, was finished and released on the internet. A second album, AOI, was released in July 2005. The album featured was dance-pop oriented and more noticeable open vocals rather than the experimental style of its predecessor.

A third album, The Complex Life, was released in January 2006. The album was much more harsh and complex than the previous albums. Consisting of messy experimental synth, screaming vocals and apathetic lyrics.

In September 2011, Furik released a 6-track demo EP titled FUR1K hinting of a permanent comeback after a 5 year hiatus.

In May 2012, PRTY FVRS, was released. This marks the first album in 6 years. It features a new modern electronic sound with stock vocals. After its moderate success, a follow up companion album, PRTY FVRS 2 was released in September 2012.

In March 2013, a brand new album GALAXY was released. It consists of a more mature and progressive sound than what was featured on the PRTY FVRS albums.

In the fall of 2013, two two-track singles were released. Since then, Furik has been on a hiatus after his new project digitalmonster surfaced.
