Biography
Gregory D. Branson known as the rapper, songwriter, and producer; GB the Flyboi found music in his early years. He was raised by his grandma on the eastside of Indianapolis, Indiana. As a teenager his grandma passed away and from there he moved with his mother and focused on his music and basketball to keep him out of trouble. In his neighborhood he started being recognized for making music. His hobby of rapping and making music later turned into something he loved to do.
In 2008, GB The Flyboi linked up with DJ Jay-O & DJ Scream to drop his first mixtape called “Fly America” which he delivered a universal confident flow that could not be denied. With this effort, he took his city by storm and created a buzz throughout the south and the midwest. He had various songs playing on the radio and circulating in the clubs. The young superstar worked hard and did what was necessary to get his name hot.
In 2009, GB worked with Bun B of UGK, on a street anthem called “Trill” and the new bad boy of R&B, Pleasure P on the hit single “Freak You” released on his record label Flystar Ent. On his rise to stardom, GB has kept a humble attitude and showed love to all the people that supports him. GB The Flyboi is teaming back up with Hoodrich to give you “Fly America 2”. In his words “The hottest mixtape to hit the streets since I dropped the first time, I’m making these other artist step they game up in 2010 and you can believe that”.
