GRASS VALLEY (グラスバレー) was a Japanese rock band from 1986 to 1992. The band formed when Deguchi and Nishida met each other at an amateur band contest in 1984. Soon after, Nishida and Deguchi would joined together to create their own band and got Kamiryo to join to play the drums. They made their debut in 1986 but didn't make their major debut until a year later when they released the single FREEZIN’. But three years later, Kamiryo would quit the band as the band broke up in 1992.
The band released a total of 7 studio albums, along with 9 singles and one compilation album.
The band consisted of:
Masayuki Deguchi - vocals
Yasuyuki Honda (also known as Kurage Honda, now a part of face to ace) - keyboards
Ichiro Nemoto - bass
Shinya Nishida - guitar
Wataru Kamiryo - drums
