Biography
Matias Saabye Køedt, better known by his alias Galimatias, is an electronic music producer/artist based in Los Angeles, CA and originally from rural Denmark. He uses sound as a means of designing a space or creating a moment. In 2015 he released his debut EP Urban Flora in collaboration with singer Alina Baraz, a seamless exploration of a smoldering relationship between electronic music and R&B. Following its release, praise for the EP poured in from publications such as FADER, NPR, Earmilk, and Huffington Post. To date, Urban Flora has recorded over 143M plays on Spotify (over 2M monthly listeners), helping songs like “Fantasy” and “Make You Feel” become classics in their own right within the electronic realm. His debut album "Renaissance Boy" was released in 2020.
