Biography
Gang Speed, real name Max van den Bree, is a Dutch electronic dance music producer and DJ. At the age of 13, van den Bree discovered his fascination for music production and began creating his own tracks. He later attended the Herman Brood Academie in Utrecht, known for its alumni of major EDM artists like Martin Garrix, Sub Zero Project, and Mesto. Van den Bree has worked on various projects and has credits on tracks of major artists such as Sean Paul and Jay Sean.
In 2021, Gang Speed’s debut single "Red Lipstick" went viral on TikTok, leading to him being signed by major record label Virgin Records. The following year, his reimagining of "Shake That" by Eminem and Nate Dogg went viral on Spotify and charted in the viral charts of over 24 countries and the Spotify Global Viral chart. With his intense and dark electronic dance music, Gang Speed is set to make a major impact on the dance music scene.
