Biography
Gay Woods (born Gabriel Corcoran on 1 September 1948 in Dublin) is an Irish singer. She (along with her husband Terry Woods) was one of the original members of legendary folk-rock band Steeleye Span from 1969-1970 (and again 1994-2001). After that she was a member of The Woods Band (again alongside her husband) who recorded their only album in 1971. From 1975 to 1978, she performed and recorded as Gay & Terry Woods. Subsequently, from 1994-2001, she rejoined Steeleye Span.
