Geddes Axe were a NWOBHM act out of Sheffield, UK. Forming in 1979, the band released their first single; "Return of the Gods" in 1980, followed by "Sharpen Yor Wits" - another single in 1982. Their final release was the EP "Escape from New York" in 1983, before the band split up. Last known line-up included:Tony Rose - vocals, Martin Wilson - guitars, Nick Brown - guitars, Mick Peace - bass, John Burke - drums.
