- G.E.N.A. (Short for “God Energy, Naturally Amazing” and loosely inspired by Gina from Martin), a superduo consisting of musicians Liv.e and Karriem Riggins
a) GENA, a russian band based in St. Petersburg, notable not only for its superb atmospheric sound but also for its unique lineup. It began in mid-June 2015 as a drone project by Herbert Liskin. However, the project quickly expanded, incorporating members of many St. Petersburg bands. It featured members from Sonic Death, KIROV, Antethic, and Windshear. Guests include talents from Garlic Kings and Brigitte Bardo. The band's name came about by chance when, during the project's drone phase, Herbert's friends jokingly asked him to call it by their name, a slightly simpler version – Gena. The joke proved to be a lasting one, and now, having Latinized their name, the band has finally become known as Gena. However, the musicians haven't abandoned the name, affectionately referring to the project as "Zhena" (Woman) during work hours.
b) GENA, a superduo consisting of musicians Liv.e and Karriem Riggins, formed in 2024. Their debut album The Pleasure is Yours is set to be released on February 27, 2026.
