Biography
Gintas K is a sound artist born in Lithuania working in the field of computer experimental and electroacoustic music. His compositions are based on granulated sounds, improv, new hard digital computer music, small melodies and memories. Gintas k's works have been published by record labels like Cronica, Zeromoon, Con-v, m/OAR, Copy for Your Records, Baskaru, Ilse, Creative Sources, Bolt Records; presented at various festivals like Transmediale.05, Transmediale.07. Collaborations with sound artists @c, Paulo Raposo, Kouhei Matsunaga, The Beautiful Schizophonic, David Ellis and others. He is a winner of the II International Sound-Art Contest "Broadcasting Art 2010" held in Spain. Since 2011, he is a member of the Lithuanian Composers Union. Gintas work included in
VA " anthology of noise & electronic music #7" by Sub Rosa in 2013.
