Biography
There are several artists called "Girlfriends":
1. Girlfriends (stylized as "girlfriends") is a two piece pop punk band which formed in 2020, consisting of Travis Mills & Nick Gross of Goldfinger.
2. A one-man band consisting of Jerry Joiner from Portland, Oregon.
3. A Danish pop group consisting of Simon, Kristian and Martin. (http://www.myspace.com/girlfriendsmusic)
4. Three people from Boston, Massachusetts, who played under the name 'Girlfriends' between 2009 and 2012 to avoid listing each member's name separately on flyers and releases. They added a fourth member and became Bent Shapes. (http://girlfriendstheband.com –> http://www.bentshapes.com)
1. girlfriends' self-titled debut album was released on October 23rd, 2020 featuring 14 tracks. The production was led by John Feldmann.
During the album's creation, around 20 songs were written. The band's second album, (E)motion Sickness, was released on June 17, 2022.
